Turkish DJ Mahmut Orhan Enters DJ Mag Top 100 at No. 42
Turkish DJ and producer Mahmut Orhan has entered DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2026 ranking at No. 42, marking his first appearance in the influential global electronic music poll.
The results were announced on October 6 at the Top 100 DJs LIVE event at UNVRS in Ibiza. The annual ranking is decided by votes from electronic music fans around the world and remains one of the best-known public polls in the international DJ scene.
Orhan was listed by DJ Mag as a new entry from Turkey, with “indie dance” identified as his main style. His sound blends indie dance, melodic house and deep house with elements inspired by Turkish musical traditions.
The Bursa-born artist has had a strong international year. In 2026, he returned to Coachella’s Yuma Tent for a third consecutive year, performed at Tomorrowland Belgium, appeared at the PUBG Mobile anniversary event at the Pyramids of Giza and closed the Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend at Apex After Dark.
Orhan’s No. 42 placing puts him in the upper half of the global Top 100 and makes him one of the most prominent Turkish names currently represented in the international electronic music scene.
At the top of the 2026 ranking, French superstar David Guetta was voted the world’s No. 1 DJ for a record sixth time. Martin Garrix finished second, Anyma third, Alok fourth and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike fifth.
